tartinery

as promised...i am posting today about the FANTASTIC dinner i had last night with two dear friends who never fail to make me laugh!

the above photo is actually a (rather bad..) scan from the postcard which was attached to our check. this is exactly how i felt after leaving Tartinery* in Nolita; like skipping home (those are loaves of Poilane by the way...the traditional tartine bread, YUM.) it's like they took a photograph of my recurring daydream: skipping down a french road with loaves of french bread. Tartinery is a fab place--the food, wine, decor, ambiance--parfait! C&A, so glad we needed a fun new place to try!

*having walked past this place numerous times and always making a mental note to go...what truly reminded me was walking past AGAIN last week (after the rue party, see below!) with two other great friends (C&C--we must go). so satisfying when those mental notes come in handy.
